Thrive Mental Health Services is an outpatient psychotherapy clinic located in beautiful and historic downtown Marquette, Michigan. Thrive Mental Health Services was opened in 2023 by Tessa Dagenais, LMSW, a Psychotherapist who has been providing mental health services in Marquette and the surrounding region since 2010.
Thrive Mental Health Services provides individual and couples' therapy services to adults-only, in-person and also via telehealth (video) by request.
Thrive Mental Health Services is open by appointment-only, Monday through Thursday. Services are provided to individuals struggling with situational life stressors (usually a shorter-term issue, in response to a change or event) as well as to individuals looking for help managing symptoms of a longer-term, chronic mental health issue or substance use disorder.
INSURANCES: Thrive Mental Health Services is able to accept self-pay clients, and is an in-network provider for Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna/Evernorth, and United Healthcare/Optum.
PLEASE NOTE: This is not an exhaustive list - please contact us if you have questions about something not included here.
Let's discuss your needs and concerns and come up with the right plan for you. At Thrive Mental Health Services, we offer a free, 15-minute consultation appointment to help ensure a 'goodness of fit' between client and provider before services begin. To request an appointment, you may call the office at 906-273-1063 (confidential voicemail available), or send a secure e-mail request to thrive@thrivemhservices.com.
Appointments/services are offered in-person at the downtown Marquette location and are also offered to residents across the entire State of Michigan via telehealth (video). If you have other concerns or questions and you aren't quite ready yet to request an appointment, please reach out by phone or e-mail, or you may send a secure message to me in the Client Portal. I look forward to hearing from you!
After your initial consultation, a full intake assessment will be scheduled either in the office setting or remotely, via telehealth, per your preference. You can expect a full history and review of symptoms to be conducted at your assessment appointment, which can take up to 90-minutes. After that, we will work together to outline a plan for services which is a way to tailor your care around the needs and concerns that you want to target during our work together. Once your plan for services (aka 'treatment plan') is established, psychotherapy services will begin. Together, we will determine the frequency (ex: weekly, biweekly, monthly) of your services. At Thrive Mental Health Services, a dynamic and otherwise collaborative approach is always taken. Your preferences and feedback will inform the therapeutic approach and you will be in an active role throughout your course of treatment.
